10-pin Cable Adapter for Sony Camcorders
For remotes with a standard LANC connector this new adapter connects to the 10-pin SONY jack on the camcorder using a right angeled 10-pin plug and adapts the signals to LANC (2.5mm jack) and video out (3.5mm jack). With this adapter all 'older' LANC remotes can be connected without any restrictions. This adapter provides LANC signal as well as video out signal (for connecting an external monitor) at the same time.
Copmatibility list: all SONY camcorders starting from model HDR-HC3. All SONY camcorders starting from February 2008 use exclusively the AV/R port for remote control and do not support standard LANC any more e.g HDR-SR10/SR11/SR12, HDR-UX10/UX20, HDR-CX7/CX12 as well as other models using DVD, flash memory or HDD recording in HD and SD resolution.
